Hey! I'm Keertana, a psychology major, a writer and a traveller. My blog is all about "drifting" through time, space, thoughts and ideas. My greatest inspiration is travel and capturing of moments. As I drift through a place to another I'd like to share some of my experiences through the journey. I'd greatly appreciate it, if you go through each and respond. Feel free to comment on any of them. Noise and Silence.
One quiet morning, i walked through an empty lane which was otherwise filled with vehicals, carts, pedestrians and road side stalls. The noise that persisted through the day seemed almost non-existent. The silence of the morning seemed almost uncomfortable.
The silence was filled with sounds. The sounds of fear, rage, anguish, sorrow and of bliss. One could not miss the overpowering sounds of indifference. Indifference must be distinguished from that of ignorance. The jumble of sounds seemed to echo from the past, a distant present and a threatening future. This made it almost impossible to distinguish noise from silence.
